  1. Explain the three levels of prevention in juvenile justice programming. Where do we currently invest most of our resources? Where do you believe we should focus our investment of resources? Why?
  2. Design a prevention or intervention program in your city. Specify the following details for your program: Who is the target population and why; what kinds of qualifications should staff hold and why; what services will be provided and why; how will success be measured?
  3. Explain the difference between a “program” and a “policy” and provide an illustration of each.
  4. What are structured decision-making tools and why are these tools an important component of evidence-based juvenile justice programming?
  5. Explain the importance of the following elements of a program: dosage, fidelity, and matching.
