Macroeconomics is written by Nils Gottfries, an experienced and highly respected scholar from Uppsala University in Sweden. It is written at a 'European intermediate' level, which is the equivelant of an upper level in the UK. The book has a uniquely flexible approach to the mathematics. By including the maths in the appendix of each chapter it maintains its rigorous approach for those students able to cope with this, but for those at a lower mathematical level it means the maths is not a barrier to fully utilising the text.
