decision t - The t-value that is the cutoff for making a decision about a null hypothesis for a variable that follows the t-distribution; the t-value that corresponds to the researcher’s alpha-level at specified degrees of freedom.
degrees of freedom - Reflects the number of factors that influence the calculation of a statistic.

wo-sample test - A hypothesis test that allows the researcher to reject or not reject a null hypothesis about the difference between two population parameters in light of an observed difference between two sample statistics.
