M

mean - The average; the sum of all values of a variable divided by the number of cases.

measure of central tendency - A statistic that gives us information about typical or middle values of a variable; the mean, median, or mode.

median - The value that lies in the middle of an ordered distribution of values, such that half of the values lie below the median and half lie above it.

mode - The value of a variable that appears most frequently in a sample or population.
