About the editors

DR CHRISTINE CROSS is Head of the Department of Work and Employment Studies and Senior Lecturer in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick (UL), Ireland. Prior to joining UL, she worked for a number of multinational organizations in both management and human resource management role. This experience has led to a wide range of research, consultancy and publication interests, covering areas such as the ‘glass ceiling’, the gender pay gap, the lack of women on boards and the workforce experiences of immigrants.

Christine has co-edited a number of leading international texts, including Organizational Behaviour (2016), Human Resource Development: A Concise Introduction (2015) and Human Resource Management: A Concise Introduction (2013).

DR RONAN CARBERY is Senior Lecturer in Management at Cork University Business School, University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. He is co-director of the HR Research Centre in UCC and editor of the European Journal of Training and Development. Ronan has co-edited a number of leading international texts, including Handbook of International HRD: Context, Policy and Practice (2017), Oragnizational Behaviour (2016), Human Resource Development: A Concise Introduction (2015) and Human Resource Management: A Concise Introduction (2013).
