Understand the workings of politics and governance in the UK…

Politics and Governance in the UK provides a comprehensive introduction to twenty-first century British politics. The multi-level character of government is fully reflected in the content and structure of the book and this new edition takes particular account of the increasingly regulatory nature of the British state. Extensively revised throughout and taking account of the 2015 General Election, the Scottish independence referendum and changing relations with the European Union, the third edition provides an up-to-date examination of the British political landscape.

The site is divided into two areas, for the lecturer and student. All Palgrave companion websites have free access, however, some sections of the Lecturer Zone are designated for exclusive use by adopters of the text and are therefore password-protected and to gain access to these parts of the website, lecturers will need to register and be authorised with a password by us. All users are invited to explore all other areas of the site as they please.

We envisage this site to be used in tandem with the textbook to create and deliver a complete teaching package for lecturers and students.
